- Exchanges: In 2012, the legislature enacted legislation that prohibits the creation, planning, or implementation of an Exchange.
- Essential Health Benefits: The New Hampshire General Court approved legislation designating the state’s Joint Health Care Reform and Oversight Committee as the entity to select a benchmark plan (H.B. 627). However, the bill died in conference committee. No additional action has been taken.
- Medicaid Expansion: Governor Maggie Hassan announced in February that New Hampshire will opt in to the Medicaid expansion.
- Medicare Advantage Enrollment: New Hampshire currently has 12,680 seniors and people with disabilities enrolled in Medicare Advantage, or about 5% of all Medicare beneficiaries.
