- Exchanges: Alaska has not passed legislation or issued an executive order authorizing creation of an exchange. However, a work group was appointed and issued a final report in July.
- Essential Health Benefits: The Alaska State Legislature has taken no action this session on essential health benefit benchmark requirements.
- Medicaid Expansion: Governor Sean Parnell said in February he opposes Medicaid expansion but would consider to examine the issue.
- Medicare Advantage Enrollment: Alaska currently has 63 seniors and people with disabilities enrolled in Medicare Advantage.
